Well done to Knauf for building this environmentally-positive factory."

"The scientific and logical facts: a factory that pollutes the surroundings 24h a day, by rejecting heavy metals and carbone monoxide, just few meters away from houses, a school, and a soccer stadium. Concerning the local economy, around 200 local jobs, while a mall or far less polluant commercial institutions would have created far more. Outdated industrial process : the use of coal to produce isolation materials, while they could have use electricity... Far more recommended in the 21st century. Local development contribution: in addition to the few local jobs, they do export and make business with remote clients (some in Eastern Europe), thus a contribution to circular economy equal to 0. If one wish to get some proofs, one can see what a similar Knauf factory did on both people's health and the environment in Slovenia (easily found on Google). Furthermore, they say they're doing everything they can to protect the local environment, but by using coal instead of electricity, by hiring QHSE managers to make their operations just "legal" and nothing more, by not sharing any numbers and results on their apparently "positive impact", we can only say this: not good enough knauf, not good enough!"
